Let me start by saying that I am thrilled that I am writing about this product and not talking out-loud because I honestly have no idea how you pronounce H’Suan Wen Hua! My hair has been in dire need of some rescue lately and being such a big fan of Lush I thought I’d give this a go. I do often mess my hair around with various heat products, sprays, dyes etc so I wasn’t 100% confident that any product would restore my hair. As it so happens this product turned out to be the ultimate rescue and my hair has never felt or looked healthier.
The instructions advise that you put a thick coating straight onto dry hair and leave for 20mins before washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner as usual. Admittedly the first time I used this I did keep the product on for longer (around 50 mins) because in all honesty I completely lost track of time. I’m not saying I recommend doing the same, but my hair felt truly pampered and silky, which was a great and unexpected result.
The pot itself suggests using once a week for really damaged hair, so I tend to use this as a weekend treat and after every use my hair feels incredibly healthy. The pot contains 225g and for me it’s a really good size that just seems to last a lifetime. In all honesty I am not overly taken with the smell, it’s not an unbearable smell, just a bit ”musty” for me. Thankfully the smell doesn’t stay in your hair after washing it out so nothing to worry about there. Regardless of the aroma I would still buy this product again because the results are truly amazing, in fact I have bought this a couple of times since. I still love it! I highly recommend if you’re in need for a good hair fix especially as prices start at a pretty reasonable £9.75 in Lush stores and online.
