Can I just say that I’m thrilled that I am writing about this product and not actually talking out loud because I honestly have no idea how you pronounce H’Suan Wen Hua! Any clues?
My hair has been in dire need of some rescue lately and being such a long-term fan of Lush I thought I’d give this a go. I do annoyingly often mess my hair around with various heat products, sprays, dyes etc so I wasn’t 100% confident that any product would restore my hair. I know, I know self-inflicted right?
Well as it so happens this product turned out to be the ultimate rescue and my hair has never felt or looked healthier!
How does it work?
So the instructions advise that you slather a thick coating straight onto your dry hair and leave for 20mins before washing out with shampoo and conditioner as you usually would.
Admittedly the first time I used this I did keep the product on for longer (around 50 mins) because in all honesty I completely lost track of time. I’m not saying I recommend doing the same, but my hair felt truly pampered and silky, which was a fabulously unexpected result.
The pot itself suggests using once a week for really damaged hair, so I tend to use this as a weekend treat and after every use my hair feels incredibly healthy and a little shiny too.
Each pot contains 225g and from my own experience I’d say it’s a really good size that just seems to last a lifetime.
In all honesty I am not overly taken with the smell, it’s not an unbearable scent, just a bit ”musty” for me, but no biggie! Thankfully the smell doesn’t stay in your hair after washing it out so nothing to worry about there.
Regardless, I would still buy this product again because the results are truly amazing, in fact I have bought this a couple of times since. I still love it! If you’re in need for a good hair fix, give this a go. Prices start at £9.75 and is worth every penny.
