Garnier Skincare : Treat Your Skin

I have been loving Garnier skincare products lately and having recently picked up a couple more of their range, I couldn’t resist sharing my thoughts!

Garnier Skincare : Treat Your Skin

*Micellar Cleansing Water

For what seems like forever now, I have been using the Micellar Cleansing Water from the Garnier Skin Active range. So many people have fallen in love with this product and I am definitely one of those who tried it out and never looked back.

For those of you who don’t know, this product is a water-based cleanser that is incredibly gentle and lasts a lifetime (especially if you purchase the 700ml bottle.. thank you Garnier!). A small amount applied to some cotton pads really goes a long way and makeup budges very easily.

The product also has very little to no scent, which I actually quite like because it feels less harsh and invasive on the skin. All in all this very quickly became one of my daily go-to skincare products.

*Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash

On a very recent trip to Boots, I came across the Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash and having been such a fan of the cleansing water I was curious to see how this would compare.

I really like the texture of the product, a lot more than I actually thought I would. I don’t particularly enjoy gel formulas because I find the majority of them to be quite cakey and thick, but this gel is the perfect texture and I was pleasantly surprised.

It’s quite a gentle gel, but it still manages to tackle makeup perfectly. The gel foams up for an easy coverage and in my opinion is easier to use due to the pump. i bloody love products with a pump!

Fancy a pin?

*Fresh Eye Make-up Remover

Don’t get me wrong, yes you can use the above products for eye make-up removal, but I prefer to tackle the eye area with the Fresh Eye Make-up Remover.

Another water-based product that is applied to a cotton pad, for such a gentle product it can really budge thicker make-up without catching any eyelashes. Thank goodness.

*Moisture Bomb

I have been in desperate need of a new moisturiser especially in this heat lately. My face dries out really quickly and not many moisturisers seem to work on my skin.

Thank goodness for picking this up on a whim, because it is possibly the best and most effective moisturiser I have tried to date. I use this every day and not only does my skin feel refreshed and silky, but my make-up also appreciates it when applying foundation.

The bottle states that it is super-hydrating and I couldn’t agree more. I wish I found this sooner!
