Doesn’t mascara just complete any look? I feel like mascara is one of those makeup essentials, especially when you need to look a bit more awake in the day. I have 3 favourites that have been my go to for the longest time and I can’t seem to budge from them.
*Benefit Rollerlash (£20.50)
This was one of the first mascaras that I splurged a little more on and it was well worth the money. Up until this point, I didn’t really believe a mascara could do much more than any other bog standard mascara, but I searched the internet for something that would make a difference. Rollerlash is great for lash length and a perfect curl. It’s not clumpy at all and so many people comment on my lashes when I wear it. Let’s not forget that the packaging is rocking and the mascara is super easy to apply due to the curved bristles. Not only a great shape but also long lasting.
*Too Faced Better Than Sex (waterproof, £19)
Whenever there is a waterproof option, I’m all over it. With a title “Better Than Sex” the mascara really needs to have an impact and I can honestly say it does. My lashes have never looked so long! This is definitely a mascara for some lash drama and people really will notice. The mascara is totally buildable to achieve your lash preference so I tend to do 2 to 3 coats for a bit more definition. This mascara may not be at high street prices but it’s well worth the money in my book.
*Maybelline Lash Sensational (£8.99)
Everyone uses this and I am yet to find a better high street priced mascara. I can’t get over how effective this mascara is and I have stocked up big time. Of course I tend to grab the waterproof version and it’s just as impressive. For everyday makeup it works wonders and the bristles easily achieve a perfect curl. Bargain mascara and I love it!
