How is it the end of September already? The months are just flying by and now it’s practically Halloween, which means Christmas is fast approaching! (Don’t be a humbug, cheer with me!) My month, as quick as it has been, has been full of some busy weekends and lots to do.
One particular weekend Jase and I went back to visit our wedding venue that we hadn’t stepped foot in for atleast a year. Yes we did plan ahead but it was worth it. Seeing the venue again (especially on a rather sunny day) made me remember all of the little characteristics that made me fall in love with the place and I couldn’t be happier with the location. There’s so many hidden gems to the venue which makes everything feel a little cosy and charming.
Of course with September comes colder weather and a few showers. Rain has been almost constant and although I have been known to have flares of SAD popping up, it seems to have surprisingly calmed down and I’m overjoyed. I am still maintaining my positive outlook and I will continue to work on this through October, so fingers crossed. The jumpers and scarves have already made many appearances and I’m kinda living for knitted clothing and boots right now. How cool are these boots from Toms?!
My blog has been through a bit of a whirlwind this month. A new logo, new template and a switch to WordPress.. I can honestly say I am really happy and proud of this final look (for now). I am still a little unsure of what content is more of an interest to readers. For example I love reviewing products and these types of posts appear to be quite popular. Great! But I also like more chatty posts like this because I feel it’s a bit more personal. What do you think? Do you have a preference when you visit blogs?
I have been attached to YouTube almost everyday and it’s now a full blown obsession. My current faves this month consist of Mark Ferris, the Tim Tracker, Manny MUA, Loey Lane and soo many others. I’m always looking for more channels though so feel free to recommend in the comments.
So, I think that will do for now. How has your September been?
