3 Useful Apps For Bloggers

We are constantly on our phones these days aren’t we? Using FaceTime, making calls, playing games.. all that, but I probably use my phone mostly for blogging and social media. Yes there really are countless apps that make the lives of bloggers a little easier and I’m sharing 3 of them with you.

3 Useful Apps For Bloggers

VSCO

Tons of bloggers use VSCO to edit their photos for social media and blog posts. I am one of them. It’s a simple but very effective app that allows users to easily edit photos until they are 100% Instagram worthy. You don’t have to be a professional photographer to create great images and most importantly, you really don’t have to spend any money either (of course you can if you want to). It’s so easy to navigate through the app with countless clear options with adjustment bars including Saturation, Exposure, Highlights and many more. It really is easy and if you want a specific look, you can find tons of VSCO themes on Pinterest or just have a play around with various effects. It’s all up to you. The perfect editing app for any blogger, especially if you are on the go.

Hootsuite

I have been using Hootsuite from day one and I love having the ability to schedule tweets for when I’m at work. It’s stress free and can be a free luxury depending on what package you use. I use the free version and have never had any trouble or felt limited. Tweeting content is so easy and is a great way of keeping on top of your blogs “promotion”. Although I don’t really dive into any other elements of Hootsuite (I’m sure there are a lot of great things) I really just like the control of what times my links are shared without needing to click a button at that precise moment. It’s extremely handy.

Tailwind

Tailwind has been mentioned countless times around Twitter and Facebook lately but what really is it? Tailwind is similar to Hootsuite in the sense of scheduling, however this app is more aimed at Instagram and Pinterest. Now I’m not going to go over the top and preach about this app too much, but I am really liking it so far. At the moment I am still using the free trial and only really focusing on Instagram (keep this in mind), but I will say that I have been hooked on the app and may be convinced to start paying for the privileges. Since all the hassle with the Instagram hack, I have been struggling with growing my following. Since using Tailwind, my following does seem to be on the rise and I’m so thankful. Tailwind allows you to upload a number of images, write your description and schedule it ready to be transferred to your Instagram account at the best time throughout the day. Not only that, but Tailwind also shows you what hashtags are best to use for ratings. How cool is that?! You do still need to help the process along a bit by opening your Instagram and posting the content, but it’s still a great and very helpful app. Have you tried it yet?
