I’m not afraid to admit that I am an absolute hoarder when it comes to makeup brushes. Don’t get me wrong, I use a heck of a lot of them but when it comes to travel, there are 6 particular makeup brushes that I can’t leave behind.
I feel like a buffer brush is the ultimate saviour when it comes to powdered products. I use the *Real Techniques Buffing Brush to achieve an overall natural finish and to help blend out any harsh build ups of contour products. This definitely has saved me from makeup disasters a few times.
I am in no way a contour pro but this brush certainly makes me feel better when trying to make my cheek bones look good. The *Real Techniques Contour Brush is such a perfect and soft brush that it evenly distributes product without leaving any bulky stripes to try and blend out. The shape of the brush head is just ideal and I love this so much that I bought a back up just in case.
Now this was a brush that I didn’t have a clue how to use. I worked it out pretty quickly and as it turns out, it became a staple in my brush collection. This brush is a dream to use when trying to distribute liquid drop foundations, which lets face it, could be a really messy job without the right tool. Even coverage is 100% achievable with this bestie of a brush.
*NYX Shading Brush (13)
I am so incredibly picky when it comes to eyeshadow brushes, but thankfully NYX have me covered. This shading brush has a perfectly sized, dense tip ideal for shadow application and blending. This brush is amazing for patting down that pigment.
*NYX Crease Brush (17)
Who ever knew I needed a brush completely dedicated to the creases of my eyes? This is by far the fluffiest brush in my collection and it feels simply wonderful. The shape of the brush head is perfect for creating depth, ideal for any dramatic eye look.
*NYX All Over Shadow Brush (12)
It’s essential right? Nothing beats a good all over eye brush to draw attention to your eyes.
