There have been a few things lately that have been slowly destroying my positivity. Life can throw some crap your way and it’s easy to get into a bad mood no matter how hard you try. I’ve been trying to shake off them negative feels and these methods might help you do the same.
Distract yourself with something creative. It doesn’t have to be an almighty project, just something to shift your thinking for half an hour or so. For me blogging is a great distraction and I feel so much better for it.
Turn The Music Up
You can’t stay too cranked up with some upbeat songs blasting can you? Personally I’m always a fan of a musical but what you play is up to you. If no ones watching, maybe go nuts with the dancing too.
Go For A Walk
They do say that exercise makes you feel better. Why not take some time out and go for a wander? I swear by a walk in the trees.. as long as it’s not raining too much.
Talk It Out
I’m an absolute sod for this, but honestly sometimes you need to air your issues. Think about what you want to say before you accidentally commit to a full on explosion. Stay calm and just talk about how you feel. You may just feel like the weight has lifted after a little chat.
