There have been many occasions when I have been in desperate need of a pore strip and my go-to has always been the Biore Charcoal strips. Damn those things are good! (review here) On a recent trip to Tesco I picked up the *T-Zone Nose Pore Strips in the hope that I may have just found a cheaper alternative.
Having since used the T-Zone strips, I am left feeling very 50/50, which doesn’t happen often. These particular strips cost £3 for a box of 6 Strips. Compared to the Biore brand which is £9.49 for the same amount, I guess T-Zone should be a real steal. But do they work as well?
The strips work in much the same way, clean the face and place across the nose area for 5-10 minutes. Easy! After peeling off the strip, it’s clear to see that the strips do combat some clogged pores and get rid of unwanted dirt. Here’s the but… the strip itself is an odd size and shape for trying to cover all important areas. I have also had a little trouble ensuring all of the strip has stuck down properly. A little annoying to say the least.
If you want a cheap alternative, maybe these are for you, but if you want something that really works with full effect.. try the Biore Strips. As for now, I will be sticking to what I know.. even if it is a little extra money.
