I thought it would be ages before I could get my hands on some of the new and very popular Fenty products! Just by chance I looked online before work one morning and I managed you purchase my shade (120) which had proven to be difficult to find beforehand. I took no time or hesitation in not only grabbing the Fenty Pro Filt’r Foundation but also the Pro Filt’r Primer.
I was amazed at the quality of both of these products. How is Fenty putting so many makeup brands to shame on their first go?! The bottles alone are simply beautiful and we all know I’m a sucker for anything frosted glass. Each bottle holds 32ml of product, which I think is great value for money compared to other high end brands. Also.. huge praise to Fenty for pumps at no extra cost!

The primer really impressed me with not only it’s soft and silky texture, but also it’s subtle fresh scent. This particular scent gives a somewhat luxurious feel before even soaking into the skin. The formula is also the perfect balance of cream and liquid without feeling to “drippy”. Filt’r really is the perfect name for this primer in every way. My pores seem so easily hidden which makes for the ideal base for any soft matte foundation.
*Pro Filt’r Foundation £26
The idea of a soft matte foundation was something that a grew hugely curious about. I have been known in the past to find matte foundations quite cakey in texture, which really puts me off. Thankfully this is not the case as the Fenty foundation practically glides on the skin and dries to a soft velvety finish that looks flawless. Pores, blemishes and any other imperfections are hidden and best of all, the foundation feels totally comfortable and not too drying. This is an extremely pleasing medium coverage foundation. No doubt about it! Worried about finding a shade for you? No need.. there’s 40 shades to choose from!
I am a huge fan of both products and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The small criticism I could think of is that you need to blend the foundation quickly as the formula does set in quite a short amount of time. Other than that, I’m a happy girl and look forward to trying out the foundation many more times to come.
