It might be a little bit later than usual, but I just couldn’t skip a post that was completely dedicated to all the products I have been enjoying in November. With the countdown to Christmas officially on, life has been a little more hectic but I have still found time to appreciate some old and new products that I have been using regularly throughout the month.
The first product on my list happens to be the *Fenty Beauty Pro filt’r Instant Retouch Primer. I mentioned a little while ago that I had made an order from Harvey Nichols and picked up the Fenty primer and foundation. Although I have been enjoying the foundation, on occasion I have found it to be not too helpful when I’m having a bad skin day. Don’t get me wrong it is an incredible foundation but stay clear when you’re having a day of bad breakouts. The primer however happens to be a miracle base for all foundations in my collection and I love it. It’s incredibly silky, feels totally luxurious And 1 pump goes a long way. A little pricey but I’m glad I have it in my beauty box.
The *Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer is nothing new to this blog, but this concealer is ideal for the colder months and has been an absolute saviour for me. Under eye circles or no more when this concealer is applied and I feel like I so much more awake and healthy.
I have become more aware of the brand E.L.F recently and whilst I’m still trying out their foundation, I have been loving using their *High Definition Powder. This is a translucent, loose powder that sets makeup beautifully. It’s delicate, easy to use and it could well have convinced me that loose powder products are something I should try out more often.
Colourpop products seem to be my best friends right now and I’m overwhelmed with how amazing they all are. I very recently reviewed a few products from my first order here, but if you haven’t seen that and are looking for a highlighter to try, I really recommend giving Colourpop a go. The glowy finish is beautiful and the shade options are almost endless.
I, like many other people adore watching Nikkie Tutorials on YouTube. One weekend I happened to come across one of Nikkie’s reviews of the Iconic Sculpt and Boost Eyebrow Cushion and as soon as it finished, I purchased my own. I have never used a cushion product for my eyebrows until now and all I can say is why hasn’t this been on the market sooner? This product is amazing! Each colour option comes with two shades that are extremely pigmented, they don’t dry up in the pan and the brush is the best brush I have ever used on my eyebrows. You really can get the precise shape that you desire with this gem. No concealer needed.
Of course I picked up another eyeshadow palette, because let’s face it I’m addicted. And obviously it consists of the most desirable warm tones. The *I Heart Makeup Chocolate Elixir palette comes with a good mix of metallics and mattes which is great for the Christmas period. There are 16 shades in total and for such a cheaply priced palette I was really pleased with the colour impact that the eyeshadows provide. I may have to buy some more.
