I don’t post too much when it comes to fragrances and I don’t really know why because I have quite a few now. At the moment I seem to be gravitating towards 3 in particular and I thought these were definitely worth a mention. Of course I have already talked about my much adored Daisy by Marc Jacobs, so I will leave that one off the list.
I lusted after this perfume for ages until I finally came across a great deal for the 15ml bottle and grabbed it right away. Over the last year I have made this last because I am going to be devastated when I run out and I really do mean that. Alien is one of those scents that you can recognise from a mile off, honestly I have been known to ask a person or two if they are wearing Alien that day and I have always been right. Sad aren’t I?
This beautiful dark and captivating bottle holds the glorious floral scent made with hints of Jasmine and White Amber. It’s a tiny bit sweet, which I personally love but it’s one of those smells that really suits everyone. It had to be on this list because it’s been one of my favourites since day one.. perhaps even before I bought it. Admittedly this bottle of gorgeousness can be a little pricey, but I would 100% treat myself to this again and I think you should too. If you fancy the 15ml bottle, it’s the perfect handbag size and still lasts. I personally just fancy a bigger bottle next time.
*Ghost Deep Night
I feel like I went through a phase where nearly everyone I knew had some version of the Ghost fragrances and I decided to join in. I opted to steer away from the original Ghost, not because I didn’t like that particular scent.. because believe me I really do, but mainly because I didn’t want to turn up at my nan’s house smelling exactly the same. Boy does she love a bit of Ghost. Have I said Ghost enough times yet? I eventually decided that Deep Night would be my “signature Ghost scent” and it’s seen a lot of wear since.
This is definitely more of a fruitier scent with subtle hints of peach and vanilla. If you couldn’t tell by now, I am all for a sweeter smell and this couldn’t fit my personality more. For such a great variety of scents, the Ghost range is very reasonably priced, so I have no doubt that I would replace this bottle without any hesitation. This is also one of the longest wearing perfumes I have ever purchased.
I have never been the owner of a Gucci perfume, that is until Christmas and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I adored the scent. Had I have known about this particular bottle before, I would’ve picked it up for myself.
Made up of the perfect mix of vanilla, sandal wood, orange blossoms and some other amazing ingredients, this is a very classy and elegant fragrance. It feels like a “treat perfume” to wear on special occasions, but I think that’s mainly down to the fact that it says Gucci on the bottle.. if you know what I mean. This really is a gorgeous perfume and you need to try it for yourself.
