My February Goals

I don’t know about you, but I quite like the idea of setting myself goals for the month ahead. It’s the boost of motivation I need at times and the feeling of satisfaction after completing those goals feels pretty good too. Wouldn’t you agree?

My February Goals

For February I have found it fairly easy coming up with a little list. There’s been goals that I have had in the back of mind for a couple of weeks and now I’m putting them into place.

Read, read and read some more
In the last few weeks I have been exploring a couple of books that focus on blogging and Instagram. Knowing that I can relate in some way to what I’m reading has made reading far more interesting to me (I can never stick to a book) and I have really been enjoying it. I have found so much inspiration and tips for my own blog and it’s made me feel a lot more positive. As of now I have another two books on the way so I’m becoming a bit of a book worm over February. I’m determined to keep up with this new found “book joy”.

Be more “internet social”
I know it may sound like an absolute cop out, but with trying to balance writing daily blog posts and maintaining a full-time job, I’ve struggled to be as social as I want to be when it comes to social media. I’m gradually starting to find and dedicate more time to commenting on other blogs and Instagrams etc because there’s so much amazing content out there. Ive always loved the support circle that bloggers have created and I definitely want to be more involved.

Keep working out
I’m not talking hours at the gym, more like half an hour on the elliptical trainer at home a day (if I can fit it in). I’ve really been feeling the benefits of a quick workout session, especially in my mood. Plus I could definitely be in better shape.

My February Goals

Organise my makeup
Simply because it’s overflowing and I love an excuse to rearrange and organise. Did I really just order a new set of drawers because of this? Maybe.

Keep to a plan
It only takes a small moment of dissolved motivation and my whole blog plan has gone out the window. I’m back on track and sticking to it. Here’s some methods that are really helping me.

Get more wedding motivated
This sounds awful I know but the balance of stress vs excitement when it comes to wedding planning isn’t always where it should be for me. I’m just starting to feel more like a soon-to-be bride and I want to just indulge in that idea for awhile before I look at the financial side of the wedding again. Romantic right?

That’s it, my list of goals for the wonderful February month. What’s on yours?

If I did this post on my own blog I would simply be repeating your first five goals LOL! I agree with you though, setting goals is always helpful to create motivation!. Good Luck!

I totally agree with all the your goals. Maintaining a blog and a full time job is hectic. But its good that you plan out things and try to stick to it. Even I want to do all the things you plan of doing. Great post and it is like a reminder of my own goals too. Loved reading. Even I need some chest of drawers for my makeup heheh. 🙂
