I may be a fan of high-end make up, but I’m certainly not opposed to searching for a few bargains. high-street brands have certainly been upping their game lately and rolling out some incredible, high quality products that shouldn’t be missed. If you are forever looking for great products that don’t cost an arm and leg, this list is for you.
*e.l.f Mineral Face Primer (£7.50)
As primers go this one really takes the cake. It has become quite an unexpected favourite in my make up bag and I am yet to find a foundation it doesn’t work with. It’s adored for not only its silky texture, but also for its ability to to create a smooth and flawless base.
*L’Oréal True Match Foundation (£9.99)
If you have been keeping up with blog posts lately, It will come to no surprise to you that this foundation is on the list. It’s a foundation that I have been using on a daily basis and that’s due to it’s comfortable, natural-looking and non-cakey formula. The pump is an appreciated addition and the foundation is very long-lasting. At £9.99 this really is a bargain foundation that you need to try yourself. There’s also 28 shades to choose from.
*Bourjois Radiance Reveal Concealer (£7.50)
Now there are two concealers on this list and although both are wonderful in their own right, this one is the epitome of dreamy. This incredible formula easily conceals dark circles and blemishes whilst creating a fresh glow. You have never looked so radiant and alive.
*Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19)
I had to right? The concealer that everyone raves about and I’m still baffled that it costs a very cheap £4.19! The coverage is just incredible so it’s no surprise we all bulk buy these beauties. I don’t think there will ever be a day when I don’t have atleast two of these in my bag.
*Maybelline Master Fix Setting Powder (£8.99)
One of my newest additions happens to be this setting powder. Not just any bog-standard setting powder I might add, but a beautifully delicate, translucent powder that will set makeup into place with barely any effort.
*Barry M Fall In Love Eyeshadow Palette (£6.49)
I remember first laying eyes on this beautiful palette whilst aimlessly wandering up and down the make-up aisle in Boots. I didn’t pick it up that day but it was one of those products I kept playing on my mind until I ultimately went back and bought it. A delightful ten pan combination of both warm and cool shades. There really are some incredible shades included to create the perfect eye look for both casual and extravagant occasions.
*Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara (£7.99)
This has been indulging in the hype for well over a year now. So what can I say that I haven’t already? Well in case you missed it, this mascara is the ultimate high-street mascara. It effortlessly creates volume, curls and lengthens your lashes to a new extreme. It’s a whopper bargain for its outstanding quality.
*NYX Micro Brow Pencil (£7.00)
One of the best £7 I have ever spent and I’ve bought this well over a handful of times now. The small and delicate pencil tip creates the sharpest of lines and is ideal for perfecting those tiny hair strokes. What a pencil! Your brows will thank you for it.
*GOSH Defining Clear Eyebrow Gel (£4.99)
I searched high and low for a product like this, wanting a clear gel to set my brows. GOSH ended this lengthy hunt for me and I haven’t looked anywhere else since. This gel helps define and lock down your desired shape allowing you to feel confident with your brows when you are out and about.
*NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick (£7.00)
My love and addiction for liquid lipsticks is still going strong. This also means that my collection of NYX liquid lipsticks is forever growing and Lingerie happens to be one of my favourite ranges. With so many beautiful shades to choose from at such a cheap price, you really can’t go wrong. Well unless you accidentally buy the same shade three times like I did. The lasting power of these lipsticks is just incredible and the texture is so soft and comfortable. Definitely one to try.
Feeling the need to shop yet? I’m tempted.
