I’ve talked a lot about Nars lately particularly Nars foundations, but what you didn’t know is that there was one particular Nars foundation that I had tried before and wasn’t a fan of. That foundation was the All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation and I first tried it a couple of years ago when I was starting to explore high-end makeup. After a couple of wears I decided to donate it to a close friend at the time and up until this year I hadn’t given it a second thought.
Thankfully before this encounter I had already fallen head over heels for Sheer Glow (is she really talking about that foundation again?) so I classed this as just one product that wasn’t for me. My love for Nars was still in tact.
Fast forward to now and I’m talking about the All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation all over again. Why? Well I’ve been exploring a lot of foundations lately and my makeup preferences have certainly changed over the last couple of years. I wondered if this particular foundation would sit better with me now.
I put the foundation to the test over the weekend and I have definitely found some new thoughts pop up for me. The first thing I noticed was how much I enjoyed the application. It is beautifully bendable with both a brush and blender and this was a surprise to me due to the watery consistency.
Coverage wasnt as buildable as other foundations I have tried but some may disagree. This product does make a difference to your skin and is best for a natural look, still beautiful just may need a little extra help when it comes to blemishes and unwanted spots.
Like all the other Nars foundations, it doesn’t feel cakey and sits comfortably on the skin with a light feel. This also lasts all day without any issues.
My conclusion? Well I won’t be giving it away this time around but it won’t be the first I grab either. I’l definitely be making more effort to use it especially in the Summer, but if you asked me what Nars foundation is best.. I think you know my answer already.
