A Peek At Our Pre-Wedding Shoot & Why You Should Have One
Last weekend Jase and I met up with our wedding photographer for the first time and it was quite an experience. Both being nervous people in front of the camera we were quite anxious about the whole idea of a pre-shoot and wondered what it would entail. Brook from Brookrosephotography was one of a very small list of photographers that we felt would suit our wedding theme and her photos were exactly what we were looking for.
For the pre-shoot (included in the wedding photography price) we discussed what locations would suit us and we opted for Thetford Forest where Brook and ourselves had been before. This meant that Brook knew where to take the best shots and what to look for. These are some of our favourites.
As I mentioned before, we aren’t very photogenic people and the idea of posing in front of a stranger with a rather large camera was daunting. Brook was able to advise us what to do whilst still putting us at ease (like any good photographer should) and helped us feel more comfortable to achieve more natural shots. If you are nervous to be photographed, I highly recommend asking for a pre-shoot in order to put your mind at ease for the big day. It’s nice knowing whether or not you are going to click with the photographer or not because you really don’t want that extra worry on your big day. Thankfully our experience has demolished all of our concerns and anxieties and now we are just looking forward to the wedding.
