There’s been a number times when I have mentioned my love for some incredible Too faced products including the Better Than Sex Mascara and the Just Peachy Mattes Palette, so it probably comes to no surprise that Too Faced have rapidly become one of my favourite beauty brands. My latest spending spree allowed me to indulge in even more wonderful Too Faced products that I have been lusting over for so long and I can’t wait to dive into them.
*Chocolate Bar Palette
I adore the highly-raved about *Peach Palette and the *Peachy Mattes Palette so I knew that the formula of Too Faced eyeshadows worked for me and more palettes were to come. I seem to gravitate towards warm tones and neutrals so the very popular Chocolate Bar Palette was the perfect addition to my makeup bag. This sweet smelling palette is the ideal combination of mattes and shimmers, all of which are lightly infused with cocoa powder. It’s pretty tempting that’s for sure. The 16 shades are ideal for natural makeup days with the extra addition of drama when desired.
*Beauty Sleep Set
This kit is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the Too Faced Hangover range much like myself. This also means I finally managed to get my hands on a Beauty Blender. I’m far too excited about this!
Included in each kit is:
Beauty Blender Bubble
Beauty Blender Micro Bubble
Hangover 3-in-1 Travel-size Replenishing Primer & Setting Spray
Travel-Size Hangover Replenishing Face Primer
I have had a tiny dive into some of these products like the primer which is a beautiful silky, non-tacky formula that creates a perfect base for foundation. I only wish it was a bigger bottle but I can’t really complain when it comes to price. I’ve also worn the Hangover spray on a couple of occasions to set my makeup and although it doesn’t quite take place of my Urban Decay All Nighter, it’s definitely something I would consider buying in full size.
*White Chocolate Chip Palette
Onto a mini palette that’s a cute yet unexpected addition to my collection. As it turns out TKMaxx have been stocking some fabulous Too Faced products lately at great discounted prices, this just happened to be be one of my finds.
Admittedly this isn’t a palette I am obsessed with especially compared to other Too Faced palettes, but it does include some beautiful shimmery shades that will add a bit of drama to eye looks. There are 11 shades to choose from making this a great travel palette however this is definitely a palette to use in addition to another palette that may have some matte base shades. At least that’s what I think.
*Love Flush Blush in the shade I Will Always Love You
This is by far the most beautiful blush I have ever seen and the nod to Polly Pockets (remember those?) is just perfect. The detailing on the product is so dreamy that I have spent too long looking at it and no time as of yet actually trying it out. Anyone else have this issue? I will be jumping the bullet very soon and seeing how it looks and lasts, 16 hours is a big promise. As shades go, this is more of a dark peach which looks beautiful in the pan. If you prefer a pinky tone or something a little darker, there are 6 shades to choose from.
*Melted Matte Lipsticks
I can’t tell you how long I have wanted to give these a go. Being such a hoarder of liquid lipsticks I knew these would be the first things to try. My verdict is actually a little unexpected but I’m hoping this will change as I try them out more. After a few days of exploring the shades Suck It and Sell Out I realised this particular formula is not my favourite compared to other lipsticks.
Annoyingly I do find these to be a little drying, nothing drastic but enough to be aware that I’m wearing a matte lip. As for lasting power, it’s ok.. The colour does hang about for awhile throughout the day but looks more like a soft stain than a layer of product. It looked a little washed out for me but this may work for others. As long as you have a chance to reapply, I think you will have a far better experience with the lip products. If you feel like trying them out for yourself, there’s an impressive 23 shades to choose from.
Sell Out and Suck It
That’s it for my Too Faced haul and I’m excited to continue to explore my purchases. No doubt I’ll be picking more up later on in the coming months but what should I pick up next? Any recommendations?
