If you have been reading this blog for awhile now, you have probably noticed that I’m on abit of a quest for positivity. I’ve been really focusing on this lately and there’s 3 things that have really helped me feel positive and inspired.
I’ve never created a vision board before but it’s something I really enjoyed doing. My inner arty self was overjoyed by this project as I decorated my huge piece of white card. I wrote down all of my short and long term goals and thought about the next steps I wanted to take. It was quite liberating in a way and it really gave me a boost. Being ambitious isn’t such a bad thing.
I’ve briefly mentioned this already but I’ve been taking part in hypnotherapy sessions over the last month. It’s been great for helping me realise and combat my anxieties around everyday issues. I feel more able to change my thought process and approach difficult situations a little differently and in a positive way. It’s been extremely helpful and slightly unexpected.
Hypnotherapy definitely encouraged me to work on this at home, it’s something I’ve wanted to look into for awhile but I never really knew where to start and whether I was doing it the right way. I’ve actually been really enjoying the app Headspace, which I try and use everyday for 5 mins or so. Honestly it’s been great and is so easy to use. I highly recommend it for anyone dealing with anxiety or stress. It’s great to be able to clear your mind for a little while. I am after all an over-thinker.
What’s been inspiring you?
