Not so long ago I took a week out from using skincare and makeup products. This proved to be quite an experience and since then I have been making more of an effort to use products with more natural ingredients. Now I know I’m contradicting myself a little here because I really don’t know what all of the ingredients are in the *Biore Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub but I was really drawn in by the use of baking soda.
I love some of Biore’s products (especially their incredible Pore Strips) so I knew I wanted to try this as soon as I saw it, that and the fact that the powder formula really intrigued me.
Well how does a powder work?
It’s a pretty simple and surprisingly not so messy process. All you have to do is wet your face well and apply the powder with circular motions to create a foaming effect. I personally find it helpful adding a few drops directly onto the powder before applying but that’s totally down to you. I find you only need a small amount to cover your whole face so the overall product has barely gone down in a week. I’ve used this twice a day so I’m quite impressed.
When it comes to results I can honestly say I’m really amazed by the difference to my pores. This product really does work but considering the post title, you knew this already. Honestly this is a godsend for clearing out blackheads, so much so that I’m tempted to buy another one just for a backup if I run out.
