I admittedly focus a lot of time exploring new products and more times than not I end up shifting my daily makeup for something I’ve recently bought. The only downside to this little fact (other than the cost) is that I sometimes end up neglecting products I once really enjoyed using.
*Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Almost every blogger has raved about this mascara and I can easily admit that I did the same. It was one of the high-street mascaras that really made a big impact and the amount of volume it achieved trumps some of the rather pricey high-end brands. Now that’s a claim! Of course one it didn’t trump is my trusty Better Than Sex Mascara from Too Faced and it’s because of this bad boy that I stopped reaching for Lash Sensational so much. It’s definitely a product I know I love and it’s much better for my bank account to use this one on the daily. I should probably pick a new bottle up soon.
*NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
I have a huge collection of these lip products and it’s a shame I had forgotten about them for so long. The pigment is always powerful and the formula is incredibly comfortable on the lips with no signs of dryness. Once again these were neglected due to my overuse of the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks but I need to jump into the cheaper products again and these are a great option.
*Kat Von D Lock-It Liquid Foundation
Back when I started this blog, my first Kat Von D product and one of my favourite foundations was the Lock-It Liquid. It had great coverage and camouflaged all imperfections instantly, everything you want from a foundation right? Well I’ve tried so many other foundations since then and now I’m curious to see how this particular foundation acts on my skin now considering my skin type has just been up in the air lately. I wonder if I’ll love it just as much as before.
*Zoeva Blush Palettes
I’ve been very honest about my lack of recent interest in blushes but I was once a big fan of the Zoeva blush palettes. The palettes offered 4 shades each (some beautiful, some far too bright for me) but they still had a lot of use on a regular basis. Well I’ve started to pick up blushes more often and I’m appreciating the rosy cheek look during colder months. These will certainly be making their way back into my makeup bag.
*Urban Decay Naked Palette
I have to be honest and say that the original Naked palette was never my fave in fact my first palette from Urban Decay was the Naked 2 palette which I loved. Now that Naked has been sadly discontinued, I feel like I owe it to myself to show it some more love.
