5 Not-So-Obvious Instagram Spots In Disney World + A Free Instagram Disney Wall Guide

April 4, 2019 2 Comments

Bare with me for a second while I compose myself because this Instagram-obsessed post is a goodun!

If you have been following me on Instagram you have probably seen a few sneaky teases in my stories about something awesome I’ve made for you. Well that something awesome is right here in this post and I so hope you love it!

There’s just no denying that Disney World has become one of the most Instagram worthy places in the world and we are obsessed! Be it a snack pic of a classic Mickey Bar or a #purplewall shot debuting your latest Minnie ears, we love them all and happily give em a double tap as we scroll through our feed. Nothing beats a good Disney Instagram spot!

Of course the Disney Parks are filled with obvious Instagram spots like Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth and all the other incredible icons (no hate there). But I wanted to mention a few spots that aren’t so obvious, that will grab your follower’s attention and ultimately make you look like a Disney Parks Pro.

Sprinkles Cupcake ATM

Ok admittedly this one’s not the best start for the un-obvious but hear me out. This perfect pink cupcake ATM (OMG right!) is not the biggest Instagram spot all things considered.

Sprinkles can be found at Disney Springs and is the perfect spot to take a couple of snaps in your girliest pink gear. Typically when I visited, the ATM needed a little maintenance but I’m still happy with the final shot.

And even if you feel a bit deflated over the 100s of photos you’ve taken (been there), you can always grab a cupcake to cheer yourself up.

Morocco Pavilion

If I’m being completely honest (and I always am) there’s probably an Instagram shot waiting at every pavilion when it’s comes to Epcot’s World Showcase.

It just so happens that this was one of my favourites on my last trip and the quietest. Ideal for taking a few shots without feeling like you’re holding someone up or like you’re being judged. Can you tell I’m a little camera shy?

There’s a couple of fountain features in Morocco and they are a great feature for your grid depending on your theme. Take a look around and see what you fancy.

Ample Hills Creamery

Take a break from Epcot and grab a boat to The Boardwalk (one of the most beautiful resorts on Disney property). Here you will find multiple areas perfect for Instagram (more about this in the free guide.. oo cheeky!) and the tastiest Ice Cream store.

Go on in, you deserve a sweet treat! There’s so many amazing flavours but my personal fave is the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake. Doesn’t that just sound delicious.. it is!

Of course you aren’t here for ice cream recommendations (otherwise I could go on for hours) what you want to know is where is the Instagram-goodness? Take a look at the interior and exterior walls to this heavenly place. It’s impressive right? Well don’t waste it, strike a pose or show off your impressively high ice cream stack.

The Rose Gold Wall

We have all heard of the very popular Instagram spots that are the #purplewall and the #bubblegumwall but have you ever heard of the #rosegold wall?

Being completely honest here, I had no clue and I would’ve completely missed it if it wasn’t for a bit of on-the-spot research.

This wall is located at the entrance of Mission Space (hence why I would not have found it) and it is the best spot for showing off your rose gold ears (that trend is still going strong over in the parks).

It’s almost like Disney planned it right?

Want to know more about the walls of Disney World.. keep on reading because I have something you will love!

Hotels

Sounds like a cop out and your thinking “Holly, seriously.. this is it?” and I get it but here’s the thing. Whenever people ask me what they could do on their Disney World trip to just chill, I always recommend taking some time to explore the different hotels.

It sounds a little lame (given I’m not the most daring person in the world) but there are some hidden gems when it comes to Disney hotels and I’m not just talking about food and merch.

Take Pop Century for example, sure it has a Tie Dye cheesecake that’s pretty tasty, but it also has a huge colourful flower wall right outside the lobby. Do you think this has gone unnoticed when it comes to Instagram.. a little, so why not help grow the trend?

And It’s not just Pop that has all the good stuff.

Great post! I haven’t really thought of Disney World as a place to take Instas, but you are totally right – there are so many great places to take photos! My favorite place in Disney World is the Tangled inspired area, so I bet there are great places to take pictures there 🙂
