Whether you are visiting Disney World World for the 1st or 50th time, there’s something new to experience to make your trip even more exciting. Of course there’s advice everywhere you turn about where to eat, where to stay and everything in between but I want to talk about some of the less obvious must dos.
Spice up your trip with some of these magical experiences.
Now by no means and I saying you need to splash out and stay in one of the most beautiful resorts Disney has to offer (although if you can, go ahead) but The BoardWalk is definitely a place to be visited.
It’s not just your typical hotel, but a stunning area full of hidden gems including entertainment, dining and beautiful views. One of my favourite spots is Ample Hills Creamery, a must for any ice-cream fanatic.
The BoardWalk makes for the most ideal break from the parks whilst still enjoying another experience without leaving the magical bubble. My advice is to take a break during a day at Epcot and take a boat ride over. And let’s be honest, this is an experience by itself.
Sprinkles – Disney Springs
So you have a sweet-tooth and need a sugary fix.. Might I advise a trip to Sprinkles while you get your shop on at Disney Springs?
We all deserve a cupcake on vacation and this is the perfect place for it. Don’t be fooled this isn’t just any old cupcake stop my friend, this sugar kingdom has the most Instagrammble cupcake ATM and it’s a must!
Is there really any better way to grab a cupcake? I don’t think so.
The Garden Grill – Epcot
Disney is home to so many glorious dining experiences and we just love a character meal don’t we? Well The Garden Grill is one of my all-time faves and you will love it.
Whether you visit at breakfast, lunch or dinner you can enjoy (a lot of) amazing food whilst having a blast with Mickey Mouse, Pluto and my best pals Chip and Dale. Plus they are all in their farmer gear and really couldn’t look any cuter!
Something even cooler about this restaurant is that it rotates as you dine. crazy right? Don’t worry you barely notice until you look outside your booth and think “how did we get here?”. It’s pretty impressive.
Winged Encounters – Animal Kingdom
If you manage to catch this experience over at Animal Kingdom, you are in for a real treat. Showing at 9.30, 10.30 and 11.30, the winged friends of the park like to pay a visit to guests just in front of The Tree Of life.
Make sure you get your camera ready for the perfect slow mo, because these incredible parrots take flight right over your head and you will look like a real camera pro if you catch the right shot in time.
Phineas and Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure – Epcot
If you have visited Epcot but fancy doing something a little different, give this a go. Act like a secret agent completing missions around World Showcase where you can unlock hidden features as you explore.
The whole family can get involved or just enjoy it by yourself.. but remember don’t blow your cover.
Ready to plan your next trip? I can’t wait to hear all about about it. Remember to tag your awesome Disney pics with #mydisneylifeuk over on Instagram.
