A Wonderland Of Unforgettable Concealers

January 21, 2019 1 Comment

It’s been some time since a concealer or two has caught my eye but lately I’ve been finding myself gravitating towards some new favourites. Alice is curious, are you?

Too Faced Born This Way Concealer

For the days my under eyes are suffering, I steer towards *this little beauty. The Born This Way foundation has always been a hit for me so it was only a matter of time before the concealer slipped its way through the rabbit hole and into my collection.

What a product! Gone are the days of looking haggard and dull. A swipe of this under your eyes and you will look more alive than ever.

With one of the most conveniently sized doe-foot applicators it’s also perfect for contouring and whilst we are on the subject, the formula blends like a curious dream.

Admittedly it’s a little pricier than other concealers but we are all mad here, especially when it comes to makeup.

Tarte Rain Forest of The Sea Concealer

When a full face just won’t do but you still want to cover up some pesky spots, there’s no point going into full “off with her head mode” just have a little dab of this.

It’s a medium coverage, lightweight formula that although camouflages imperfections, still maintains a fresh and natural feel. And here’s a bonus! This concealer lasts up to 12 hours of wear so there’s no need to touch up.

It’s such an appealing concealer it’s no wonder why the Cheshire Cat is always smiling.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

Because one Tarte concealer just isn’t enough and Shape Tape was raved about from all directions.

Ideal for brightening and contouring this is quickly becoming one of my daily faves. Much like Born This Way, this is a great product for forgetting about your lack of sleep.

In fact it’s a product that makes such a difference, even your closest friends will be asking “Who are you?”

You my friend have never looked better.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

An odd choice and one I’m praising for slightly different reasons. Sure it’s ok for a little brightening and it will cover the odd imperfection, but for me it’s all about the eyes.

Well we all know I adore the dab of a certain Urban Decay Eye Primer but for a cheap alternative, this is ideal.

*Fit Me makes a great base for any eye look no matter how daring you feel. Want those shadows to really pop before you head off to that fancy tea party? This will do the trick.

And there you have it a true Wonderland of concealers that are just calling your name. Ready to stop wandering through the maze and find a concealer that’s right for you?

I’m lucky in the sense that I don’t usually get dark circles or undereye bags, but I still need a really good concealer because I have post-acne scarring- so frustrating! The Born This Way concealer and the Shape Tape both sound awesome though 🙂
