Long gone are the days when Cinderella had to work her ass off to scrape together some money for beauty products, but that princess still loves a bargain and those high-street beauty products.
Sure she loves rummaging through the MAC foundation counter in her glitzy glass heels (who doesn’t?) but she still picks up a few high-street faves too.
L’Oréal True Match Foundation
*True Match has received so much hype as one of the best foundations, you’d think it was made of magic. This high-street foundation comes in 28 shades to suit nearly every complexion and skin tone.
The formula creates a medium to buildable coverage which dries down to a velvety, natural finish. The perfect foundation for a fresh face regardless of all the late nights dancing at the balls.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
Because it’s good to have a couple of options right? This dewy foundation basically does what it says on the tin, so if you need a foundation to give you a lift and a little radiance, *this is for you.
It also claims to last up to 16 hours of wear and although Cinders may not be able to vouch for that, it certainly lasts for a long time.
Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer
Remember when everyone in the Kingdom was going crazy for *this high-street concealer? Some of us still do and why not?
This concealer is packed full of coverage and when Aurora swore by it after waking up from her sleeping curse, all the other princesses grabbed a handful.
Just a swipe under the eyes, a little blending and bibbidi-bobbidi-boo.. no bags in sight.
Revolution Bake and Finish Powder
Sure you can wish upon a star and hope your makeup stays in place all day, or you could just pick up some of *this setting powder.
A dip into this with a damp Beauty Blender and a pat under the eyes, followed by a dusting with your big fluffy brush and your makeup will last a lifetime (or at least until midnight).
NYX Micro Brow
Some are blessed with royal brows but others have to fake it. *This brow pencil is the perfect way to do it.
The small pigmented tip will effortlessly create soft hair strokes to achieve those dreamy defined brows. And there’s a spoolie on the end for an extra magical touch.
L’Oréal Paradise Mascara
Are we really over the rose gold trend? I don’t think so and *this mascara is just another reason why.
Here’s what I look for in a mascara. Length, volume, curl and no clumps. Paradise ticks the box for them all and it still deserves a place in the royal makeup bag.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
A little pricier than your average high-street buy but Cinderella picked up a mini months ago and it’s still going strong. It’s not enchanted, just a fabulous product.
*Hoola is an essential for warming up the face and giving yourself a little definition.
Feeling inspired for a beauty treat or two? Go on girl, you deserve it!
